GRACE VS WORKS > “SALVATION”

Before Jesus came to this world, God had a covenant with the Jews. This Old covenant demanded man to live perfectly by obeying the whole law, and because NO ONE could keep the whole law, so they had to sacrifice animals to have their sins covered.

When covered, God couldn’t see the sins and thus blessed them. Clearly, this covenant was demanding. Man had to KEEP LAWS and SACRIFICE animals. What a lifestyle?!

James 2:10 says that if you break one law, you are guilty of all! In other words, the law wasn’t to be kept as different laws, it was one set to be kept perfectly. That’s why everyone failed.

Then came Jesus, he became man, went through all temptations like you do, but he didn’t sin. He had no sin! He was attracted to some bad things (that’s what temptations means) but he didn’t give in to the attraction. But then…he died! Why???;

I should die, because I fail. You should die! Why are you alive? Jesus was the lamb that was killed for your sins. And his blood didn’t just cover sins, it removed them!

Now you have no punishment to face, even if u break the law! Therefore there is no point of walking according to the law, because you will not be judged by it. That’s why the bible says we are not under the law!

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.- Rom 6:14 (KJV)

“BUT DO WE SAY?!”

Hebrews 13:5-6

(God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” SO WE SAY with confidence, “The lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”)

In verse 5 the Lord says,> SO WE CAN SAY in verse 6.
Many times the Lord has said amazing things concerning us, but “do we say”??

Do we have confessions in relation to what God has said

He has said he will never leave you, so you can keep on saying WHAT CAN MAN DO TO ME!!
😎😎😎

He says by his stripes am healed so I can say AM HEALED!  He says he doesn’t take his eyes off the righteous so I can say AM ALWAYS UNDER THE PROTECTIVE WATCH OF MY FATHER! He says he doesn’t withhold anything good from me so I can say, I HAVE ALL GOOD THINGS IN CHRIST!

Maybe you have been reading God’s promises, maybe you have been hearing them everyday, but have you been saying them

“SOURCE vs reSOURCE”

John 6:10 (NIV)

“Make the people sit down”

In this portion of scripture we see a great crowd following Jesus, thousands of people! When is the last time u saw 5000 people in one place? Well, this crowd was big!  5000 men plus their families!

So the disciples decided that it was better to send the people away because there was no food. At least for the people to go and buy food.

So Jesus, testing Philip, asks him to feed the people. But when Philip thought about the cost, it was impossible to feed them! Then Andrew, says “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”

Then after the disciples had spoken Jesus tells them to make the people sit down. Right now the disciples must have wondered what the plan was.

Listen friend, in life there are always these 2 options when it comes to provision. You can choose to focus on the reSOURCE or the SOURCE! Jesus knew that in the physical realm, the resources weren’t enough…that was clear enough to see with the physical eyes.
